SALT & WAVE is a sustainable hair accessories brand launched in 2021 during the 90s revival and has hit the sweet spot of nostalgia meets ultrarelevant fashion staple. I consulted the brand during their marketing and retail strategy development phase with the objective to leverage momentum and maximize reach with subsequent retail listings. Influencer partnerships and social media excellence have been defined as marketing priorities, with placements on marketplaces and key European department stores as the biggest retail expansion opportunity beyond brand’s own e-comm platform.
With a sweeping guerilla marketing influencer campaign we have created 3+mln impressions, generating brand consideration. The brand has been worn by a starfall of influencers such as Emili Sindlev, Linda Toll, Hanna Schönberg, and others. Currently the brand is stocked at Farfetch, KaDeWe, Printemps Paris, LuisaViaRoma.com and Anthropologie.com. As soon as SALT&WAVE’s USP has been defined as a sophisticated flawless visual approach, the brand has generated organic media reach, being featured in Vogue and ELLE publications.
